RecycleScrap.com is an independent information resource built to help people understand how households and small businesses can set up a simple, reliable routine for recycling metal, what belongs in kerbside bins and what belongs with a scrap buyer, how to keep hazardous items out and how to decide when selling beats recycling for free.
Why We Built This
Good intentions about recycling usually fail on small details, such as which bin, how clean and where to take the bulky stuff. We built this site to cover those details plainly, so that a routine is easy enough to keep. Kerbside rules differ by council, so always check your local guidance.
Part of the ScrapTrade Network
RecycleScrap.com is part of the ScrapTrade network — an online scrap trading marketplace connecting verified buyers and sellers of scrap metal, e-waste, batteries, and more. Where this site focuses on the routine, ScrapTrade is where the bulk of your collected metal becomes offers from verified buyers, with transparent weighing and escrow-protected payments.
What We’re Not
We’re not a scrap buyer and we don’t handle transactions directly through this site — this is an information resource. For the actual buying and selling, head to ScrapTrade.
A routine only works if it is easy. ScrapTrade connects you with verified buyers, transparent weighing and escrow-protected payments for the metal worth selling.
